The Great Conflict

Mexican-American Conflict:

Mexican-American conflict is the most dangerous conflict in the North America. The relationships of both the countries were not so bad but from the past 2 decades, both the nations have completely damaged their relationships. In the past both countries were living in peace and there was no such thing called "conflict" between them. but if we talk about today, there is a great conflict between both the countries.

The main reason behind all of this conflict is American state "Texas".

 

The American state "Texas" was once associated with mexico. The people of Texas always wanted to get independence from Mexico because of certain reasons. Those reason are not supposed to be the part of this article.

In 1836 Texas won its independence from Mexico and was now an independence state. The military chief was abducted in this war and was forced to declare Texas as an independent state. The Mexicans were not in the favor of doing this but it had to be done.

Later on some of the people from Texas wanted to join with the United States but on the other hand few individuals had a view that it would be like slaves got independence to be the alaves of another state, so they refused the pact. US government on the other hand was not also fully in the favor of this pact due to certain reasons, but few of the individuals were fully in the favor of this. This started the great conflict between United States and Mexico which is today called as "Mexican-American Conflict" or sometimes "The great conflict in North America".  

After this pact the tension started to rise in Texas , United states and Mexico. The Mexico never wanted to see Texas to be a part of US. But the People of Texas were bound to take some step regarding the join with United States because they were not fully armed and were not ready to fight with Mexico so they forwarded this pact to the capital of United States.

In 1845 this matter became very serious in Washington and was started to debate. This debate was very interesting because the entire cabinet was never ready to do that but few very strong reasons were thrown. 

In the end United States decided to enter some armed men into Texas  and annexed the lands completely but the conflict was on it's place and it started since then.

One other main cause of Mexican-American conflict is California. California is the golden state and United States had an aye over it for long time. This was the golden chance for United States to annex the California lands to US. On the other hand California was also not very happy with Mexico because they were not given the rights. So United States played a very tricky game and provoked California at that very time when the conflict of Texas was in debate.

The United States played a very interesting game. Initially the matter of California was meant to set with peace. For this purpose debates were supposed to held between United States and Mexico.

But Mexico was not ready for these debates and they were not ready to give California at any chance.

Here US sent his General with some armed men to California. United states was very serious and willing to annex California. This US General stayed here for sometime and then wanted to built a for near sea. The Mexicans realized that there is something not good happening so they requested the General to go back to United States. The General somehow built the desired fort and before leaving Mexico he raised the American flag on the fort for sometime and then left the Mexico. Later on immigrants were sent and California was also captures and annexed successfully with United States.

These were two main reasons behind the conflict of United States and Mexico.
