The Long South-American Country

Chile:

Chile is said to be the "Long" country. it is not because of its vast area but because of it's shape. Chile is like a long green chile. Most of the world is confused that either country name is named after graan chile or green chile is named after this country.

Chile is a South-American country. This is very versatile country and have each and every natural thing in it. It is often said that Chile is the God's last creation and God put something of every thing in this country.

We are saying this because, if you ever visited Chie you can find every natural thing there. the mountains, Rivers, Forests, Lakes, Deserts etc.

The longest country world have ever seen is Chile. Chile is 4620 km in length which is very huge and it is important to note that it is only 150 km wide.

Chile is often said to be the land of mountains. As we have mentioned that there is everything of something in Chile but mountains here are very abundant. With mountains there are also volcanoes. Recent studies revealed that there are about 90 volcanoes found in Chile.

Chile is said to be the home of volcanoes. It is because of the reason that there are many volcanoes in Chile and the historical most active volcano was also located in this country.

After volcanoes lets reveal something important to our readers. Whenever we heard about "Mummy" the first thing come to our minds is egypt. But here we are going to reveal that the world's first ever mummy was not from Egypt but it was from Chile. It was the mummy of some child and was found in 5050 BC. The Egyptian mummy was found later and even after the process of mummification.

Now lets talk something about the water things. There are many natural rivers in Chile. You can also find natural lakes in Chile. But if we talk about artificial water storage means the world's largest swimming pool is in Chile. This swimming is consist up of 20 acres of land which makes it the world longest swimming pool. Everyday people visited this swimming pool to have fun.

People of Chile are very patriotic. Like other countries of the world Chile also have Independence day. Chile celebrate their independence day on 18th & 19th of september every year. The interesting fact about their independence day is not their celebrations but the rule made by their government. The rule regarding independence day is that every government and private building must display the flag on it. This flag must be hung with white pole and if not white pole then it must be tied with the building in a beautiful way. One who will not follow the rule will be fined accordingly.

People of Chile are kinda peaceful. They are religious too. According to them if couple marries then only death can separate them. They hated the term 'Divorce". This is the reason that their government legalised the concept of divorce in 2004. Still this concept is not liked by most of the population of Chile.

Chile is mostly covered with dry mountains. There are lakes and rivers there but mainly there are dry mountains. Recent survey has declared Chile, the most driest country in the world. The count of rainfall in this country is very less. It happened to rain after a very long time. This is because of the dry atmosphere of this country. 

Many times it occur that it happened to be no rainfall for months. The worst condition Chile has faced was 4 years without rain fall. One can imagine the dryness of this country by reading this.
